We are lucky enough to have some of the best restaurants in Cornwall all within a short distance from us.
St Kew Farmshop and Café
Recently re-opened and run by our daughter Sarah and her partner Josh. Just a little way down the road from our Duchy farm, this farm shop has the best local produce, delicious food including wood fired pizza, and great coffee. There is a beautifully curated selection of coastal homewares too. We couldn’t be more proud, a great stop off on your holiday!
St Kew Inn
Is a 15th Century village pub situated next to St James the Great church. It has a welcoming bar and restaurant, with blazing fire in the winter and large beer garden for a warm summer evenings. Very popular so you may need to book.
Maltsters Arms, Chapel Amble
A good village pub, serving local ales and beers and good quality local food, specials menu and families welcome. They also do a Sunday carvery. Its only a short walk from Rooke Cottages into the village of Chapel Amble.
Bridge Bistro, Wadebridge
Is a little restaurant just along from the old bridge in Wadebridge, has a small menu all good but the sticky toffee pudding to die for!!

Rock Inn
The Rock Inn is situated on the Rock waterfront with superb views overlooking the estuary and Padstow. This newly refurbished restaurant serves really good food at reasonable prices; breakfast, teas, coffees, lunches and evening meals, served until 9.30pm. Families and well behave dogs are also welcome.
Mowhay Cafe and Restaurant
When in Polzeath check out Mowhay, just up the hill this converted barn and art gallery has a good reputation for food and coffee. Retreat to the cosy fire in the winter or enjoy eating outside when the sun smiles. A very relaxed atmosphere with yummy food in a beautiful location.

No 6 Padstow
Award winning chef Paul Ainsworth creates stunning food in an intimate lovely restaurant tucked away down a side street in Padstow. Voted the best restaurant in Cornwall by Which? Good Food Guide.
Rojanos in the Square
Another of Paul Ainsworths restaurants situated around the corner just off the main harbour of Padstow. Buzzing all the time with a relaxed feel, this Italian influenced menu makes it a very popular venue for couples and families alike.
Craftworks Padstow
Open Air Dining with a view of the rolling countryside and the Camel Estuary….
This isn’t any normal setting for a PopUp Style restaurant but its got to be one of the nicest settings in Cornwall. Trerethern Farm is the perfecting setting for watching the sun going down over the Camel Estuary.
